A47 blocked towards Great Yarmouth after two vehicle collision

A stretch of the A47 was blocked towards Great Yarmouth near North Burlingham this afternoon, after a collision between two cars.

Emergency services were called at 3.15pm, after two vehicles - a Mercedes SLK and a Volkswagen Golf collided near the White House Junction.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews all attended the scene, after reports that two people were trapped inside one of the vehicles.

Three people were involved in the crash, all of whom are being treated by ambulance crews for neck and back injuries.

Traffic was being diverted through South Walsham before police re-opened one of the lanes.
