The A10 outside Watlington has reopened following a collision between two vehicles and a lorry.

The road was closed in both directions earlier this morning while the vehicles involved were recovered.

A Norfolk police spokesperson said police were still on the scene but the road had opened.

Five people received treatment for 'minor injuries'.

The spokesperson said: 'The collision involved an Open Astra, Volkswagen Bora and a lorry.

'The road has been closed while the vehicles are being recovered and officers are still on the scene.'

Police said diversions have been put in place on the A10/A134 and School Road/Field Barn Lane.

'Anyone witnesses should please call police on 101,' said the spokesperson.

Paul Strutt, communications officer for Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (Nars) said volunteer responders from the service had attended the scene.

He said: 'Critical care paramedics Carl Smith and Ryan Warwick were dispatched from home at 5.23am and helped treat five people.

He said NARS had recently run an extended 'high fidelity' training programme to enhance responders' skills for this type of scenario.
