I see (EDP, January 5), that up to 5,000 people are being invited to fork out a minimum of £31 each to run 'the world's biggest inflatable obstacle course' in Earlham Park, Norwich in September.

Given that anyone can run round Earlham Park for free any day of the year I wonder how many will think it a good idea to spend so much money — the rates get gradually more expensive from June to a maximum of £60 on the day — running over a few bouncy castles.

Organiser Alex Winters says it will be a 'fun-filled event.' I imagine that he and his colleagues will be having the most fun as they are having a laugh — all the way to the bank.
