A driver had their car seized before even sitting their test while on the outskirts of Norwich.
Police took possession of the vehicle earlier this week as it left Rackheath Industrial Estate.
Officers discovered a learner driver was using a provisional licence but had no L plates, no insurance, and was not accompanied by a qualified adult.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said: "It might be common knowledge, but here’s a reminder that if you’ve only got a provisional licence and are driving around without L plates or a suitable adult supervisor, you’re committing an offence."
