A woman has been charged following an attempted robbery at a shop in Norwich.
Police were called to Quebec Road at 7.22am on Thursday after reports a woman had entered a shop armed with a knife, threatened staff and demanded money.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after and arrested a woman in her 50s on suspicion of robbery.
Shakline Caccamo, 51, of Albert Place, Norwich, was later charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife blade in a public place.
She was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Caccamo appeared in court on Friday where she was remanded into custody.
She is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on October 9.
