The A11 will be closed between the A47 Thickthorn junction and Wymondham from 8pm on Friday, September 18, until 6am on Monday, September 21.

A National Highways spokesman said: "During the weekend closure, drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid travelling in the area during that weekend if possible, allow extra time for essential journeys, follow the signed diversion route, and check traffic information before travelling."
The closure affects all side roads on to the A11 within the affected stretch.
Those living on Cantley Lane South will be escorted by traffic marshals to maintain access during the works.
The new bridge will carry the Cantley Lane Link Road over the A11, connecting Cantley Lane South with Norwich Road in Hethersett.
A temporary 7.5-tonne weight limit will also be in place on the Norwich Road between Hethersett and Thickthorn, although local buses will still be able to use the route.

The closure comes the same weekend that thousands of football fans will be traveling to Carrow Road on the Sunday to watch Norwich City take on Bolton.
Diversion routes will be clearly signed.
Non-HGV northbound traffic will be diverted from the A11 at Thetford via the A1066 to Diss, then northbound on the A140 to rejoin the A47 at Norwich.
Southbound non-HGV traffic will exit at the A140, follow the route toward Diss, exit Needham Market, then west on the A1066 to Thetford and rejoin the A11.
Lorries heading north will be diverted on to the A14 at Newmarket junction 37 towards Stowmarket, exit the A14 at junction 51 and join the A140 toward Norwich, before rejoining the A47 at the Norwich.
Southbound HGVs will exit at the A140 and travel towards Stowmarket, exit at Needham Market and head west to Newmarket on the A14, before rejoining the A11 at Newmarket.
