Travellers who "intimidated" security guards in a night of chaos at a public park have now moved on to another part of the county.
The group with around 20 caravans left Earlham Park yesterday at around 2pm after being confronted by a dog walker who became furious about litter at the site.
The member of the public who did not wish to be named said: "I had a go at them about the disgusting mess they made on Wednesday evening.
"They said don't worry about it mate, we are off to north Norfolk."
The travellers are understood to have got into the park on Tuesday evening via an entrance opposite UEA Sportspark.
Norfolk Constabulary has confirmed policing powers were not used to move them on.
The group began "intimidating" security guards overseeing the pack-up of last weekend's Rock N Roll Circus Festival shortly after their arrival.
An additional dog handler was called to the site as the travellers "threatened to pull down the metal fences marking out the festival site" and "steal" a silver Airstream caravan.
"They did so with smiles on their faces" he added.
