A die-hard Canaries fan is determined to travel to as many World Cups as possible armed with a massive NCFC flag.
Paul Green has cheered on England at eight World Cups in the last 46 years with his hand-stitched eight-foot-wide NCFC flag made in 1980.
The 68-year-old was brought up in a care home in Wymondham from the age of 11 and says he became fascinated by the Canaries at the age of 14, bunking off school with his mates to attend matches.
Now, he has announced plans to travel to as many World Cup tournaments as possible, carrying the symbol of dedication to his club and country.
As well as the Norwich badge, the banner also has the name of his hometown, Wisbech, stitched on it.
Mr Green said: "I am hoping to go to the next tournament as long as I am fit and well.
"Travel should be a lot cheaper as well, as it is based in Morocco, Portugal and Spain.
"I have taken the flag to World Cups in Spain, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, South Africa, Russia and this year's tournament in USA, Mexico and Canada.
"My wife from my second marriage spent hours making it."
The former factory worker was split up from his three brothers when he was placed in care.
He said: "I used to go to games with some friends from school.
"Sometimes we would skip class to go to the matches.
"I was hooked and have been ever since."
The 68-year-old's partner of 20 years died two years ago and supporting the Canaries has been a lifeline for Mr Green.
He said: "Supporting both Norwich and England helped me a lot.
"Going to the games helped very much during my darkest of days."
Phillipe Clement, NCFC manager, announced last Saturday on the big screen at Carrow Road that Sky Bet's Fan Spotlight campaign would fund Mr Green's season ticket.
