A man has been handed a conditional caution after another man was assaulted.
The incident happened at 8.36am on Tuesday, July 7 on Plumstead Road in Thorpe End, Norwich.
Several police cars and at least one forensic services van were called to the scene.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault and criminal damage.
He was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Police have since confirmed that he will face no further action for one of the assaults.
For the other assault and criminal damage, he was handed a conditional caution.
A conditional caution is a formal warning given to someone who admits a criminal offence but agrees to meet certain conditions instead of going to court.
If they stick to those conditions, the case will not normally go before a magistrate or judge; if they do not, they can still be prosecuted for the original offence.
