A busy road in Norwich is to be closed for surface dressing works.
Long John Hill will be shut to traffic between Smithfield Road and Stoke Road from Thursday, July 30.
Closures will be in place between 7pm and midnight on July 30, with contingency dates also in place on July 31 and August 1.
Additional closures are planned for road lining and cat’s eye works on August 7, with contingency dates on August 10 and August 11.
Access to properties will be maintained throughout the works, which are scheduled to take place in the evenings to minimise disruption.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closures
The project is expected to cost around £31,000.
It will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department, in partnership with contractor Kier Highway Services.
