A supermarket worker is cycling hundreds of miles across the entire length of England and Scotland.
Guy Humphrey has spent months training to complete a mammoth cycle from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in north eastern Scotland.
The 29-year-old, who works at M&S's Sweet Briar store in Norwich, was selected to take part in the challenge alongside 17 other colleagues from all over the UK.
He has spent hours preparing for the gruelling cycle, which will cover 874 miles, taking place over 10 days in aid of YoungMinds.
He said: “I’ve been training six days a week through a mixture of long rides, runs and strength training to build up my core and help prevent injuries.
“I haven’t challenged myself to this degree before, but I can’t wait for the journey ahead.
"The most challenging aspect will probably be dealing with the unexpected if things don't go exactly to plan along the route.
"I’m really looking forward to taking in all the scenery the UK has to offer, exploring places I’ve never been, and meeting the rest of the team.
"Mental health is so important, and it can affect absolutely anyone.
"I’m sure everyone in the community can connect in some way or another to YoungMinds and their goals."
Mr Humphrey, who is from Great Yarmouth, is particularly excited about making it to Scotland towards the end of the ride.
"I think reaching Scotland will be absolutely amazing," he said.
"I can only imagine the views will be incredible."
The group set off on June 4 and are aiming to reach John O' Groats on June 13.
Staff at the M&S in Taunton held a cheer event spurring the riders on with live music and lunch.
