A property home to a long-established Thai restaurant will be available to buy at auction next month.
The premises of Thailand Restaurant in Ring Road, Thorpe St Andrew, is going under the hammer on June 17 after being owned by the same people for 40 years.
The restaurant will remain in its current form, with the same owners at the helm.
Thailand Restaurant is believed to have been the city’s very first Thai restaurant after Richard Kidd and his wife spent years transforming the site from an old grocery store into the business it is today.
Mr Kidd will continue to live in the building as a tenant.
The premises is going under the hammer with Auction House East Anglia at a guide price of £375,000 plus fees.
The auction house has described the sale as "a rare opportunity to acquire a long-established freehold restaurant investment".
The property includes the 54-cover restaurant with bar and commercial kitchen, plus a three-bedroom owner’s flat above.
Outside, there is customer parking, a large garage, a store and a private garden.
