Age UK Norwich is supporting a national campaign.

The Still Got It campaign, led by Age UK, aims to challenge taboos around sex, relationships and intimacy in later life and promote open conversations for people over 50.

Backed by Age UK’s new guide on sex and relationships, the campaign addresses concerns that this demographic is often overlooked in discussions about sexual health.

Dan Skipper, chief executive officer at Age UK Norwich, said: "This national initiative is so important because we’ve seen first-hand in Norwich how relationships formed later in life can flourish into something truly special, including marriage.

"That’s why we’re so pleased to be part of it, helping to spread this important message and signpost people to the new Age UK guide."

Recent findings from Age UK reveal that 19pc of over-50s think their sexual health needs are overlooked by their doctor or other medical professionals.

The research also found that 15pc would feel too embarrassed to seek an STI test.
