A care home has been praised for its “exceptional” standards by residents and their families.

Ashfields Care Home in Rackheath, Norwich, received glowing feedback in a recent customer satisfaction survey, conducted each year by Barchester Healthcare.

Trifonita Pulmones, general manager at Ashfields, said: "We are delighted that Ashfields received such excellent feedback from our residents and their loved ones.

"The team at Ashfields always strive to provide the best quality person-centred care for everyone who lives here continually going above and beyond to ensure all our residents lead the most fulfilling lives possible.

"They are all superstars and it is wonderful to see their dedication recognised."

The survey gathers input from Barchester’s 13,800 residents and patients, and their loved ones.

Ashfields scored above 89pc in all six key areas: people, care, environment, activities, dining and communication.

It received its highest score of 97pc for the quality of staff, with both care and environment rated at 95pc.

Ashfields care home offers residential and dementia care, from respite stays to long-term placements.
