If South Norfolk Council approves the plans, the plot will be divided to make way for a two-storey house.
Agents for the developers wrote: "The land is poorly used owing mainly to the badly proportioned corner plot.
"Developing the land will improve the outlook of neighbours while also giving a greater purpose to the land, serving the village well."
The plans detail how the home will include three bedrooms and is designed to have a "generous storage space" with a "large open plan accommodation area purpose-built with a kitchen, lounge and dining area."
The agents added: "It is deemed that the design will have no detrimental impact on the existing buildings. Number 29 will have substantial amenity space and suffers from no overlooking or loss of light. The same applies to the adjacent bungalow along Lime Tree Avenue."
