A project to build five new homes off a country lane just outside the city is nearing completion after more than half a decade of work.

Proposals to demolish nine timber-clad barns at Manor Farm in Wramplingham Road, Wymondham were first put forward in 2019.

After receiving approval from South Norfolk District Council, work began to clear the site and build a new access track for the upcoming properties.

Features such as roofing tiles, gutter pipes, windows, doors and driveway surfacing have been altered, with some minor elevational changes proposed as well.

This amendment is to ensure the local planning authority can "control the colour, tone, texture and appearance of the materials used to ensure the satisfactory appearance of the development", as required by the South Norfolk Local Plan.
