A new business in Norwich is preparing to open its doors, with its owner applying for an alcohol licence to serve customers.
Vakisan Nagenthiram has submitted an application to Norwich City Council, requesting permission to sell and serve alcohol at Witard Express Ltd, located at 29 Witard Road.
The shop is part of a small retail parade off Plumstead Road East in Thorpe St Andrew.

Nearby businesses include an East of England Co-op, PACT Animal Sanctuary charity shop, Mama Mia Italian takeaway and Eagle Barber.
Witard Express will "serve the local community with the provision of a wide range of groceries and other home produce for purchase in store and available by delivery."
The proposed alcohol sales hours are from 7am to 11pm daily, matching the store’s planned opening hours.
The ground floor layout will include drinks fridges and shelves behind the counter displaying spirits.
The site was formerly occupied by G Morris & Son, an independent butcher.
