A developer has raised more than £13,000 for a city homelessness charity at a golf tournament.
Barratt and David Wilson Homes Anglia, based in Norwich, hosted the event to support St Martins Housing Trust.
The competition saw 72 golfers, including the company's employees and subcontractors, take on an 18-hole course at Barnham Broom.
The tournament raised £13,545 for the charity.
The day concluded with a celebratory dinner, an award ceremony, a raffle, and an auction.
St Martins Housing Trust, established in 1972, has been helping those experiencing homelessness in Norwich for more than 50 years.
Dr Jan Sheldon, chief executive at St Martins Housing Trust, said: “The generosity of local businesses makes an enormous difference to how we can support people experiencing homelessness in our region.
"While housing is a very basic and fundamental need – and we are in the midst of a housing crisis – it is the support that runs alongside the accommodation that can help people thrive and retain their stability.
“The donations raised at the golf tournament will enable St Martins to provide more support and are guaranteed to make a difference.”
The charity was started by former dean of Norwich Cathedral, Alan Webster, who initially made a garage available as emergency accommodation for people sleeping rough.
Since then, St Martins has become one of the largest local charities in the area.
Simon Wood, managing director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Anglia, said: “We are delighted with the results of our charity golf tournament and would like to thank everyone who participated in the event for helping to support our charity of the year, St Martins Housing Trust.
“The tournament was a great success, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves whilst being active for such a fantastic cause.”
