Police cars swarmed part of the city centre in an incident that shocked commuters.
Officers were called St Giles Street near the Norwich market at 5.07pm yesterday after reports of fighting.

The fight is reported to have broken out between a group of men near where the road meets Lower Goat Lane.
Despite officers attending the scene, nobody was arrested.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
