A weekend of four-legged fun is returning to a major outdoor venue near Norwich this summer.

All About Dogs, one of the UK’s fastest-growing festivals devoted to dogs and their owners, is coming to the Norfolk Showground on August 25 and August 26 from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

The festival promises a weekend of canine entertainment with performances from Britain’s Got Talent finalists Lucy Heath and the Trickstars.

The weekend will involve 50 fun dog show classes, from the 'cutest pup' and 'best rescue' to the 'waggiest tail', alongside various talent shows for gifted pooches.

A programme of shows, with displays, expert advice, demonstrations, entertainment, shopping and activities such as lure racing, dock diving and flyball will also be on offer.

New this year, the show will be running breed meet-ups where pooches can mix and mingle and there will be a selection of both dog-related and general stands and stalls.

Camping is available for those who want to stay overnight and food, drink and live entertainment can be enjoyed in the Village Green.

Director of All About Dogs, Matt Upson, said: "Our aim is to deliver a spectacular, feel-good day out for both our two and four-legged visitors and offer them something unique they wouldn’t get at a traditional dog show event.

“We love bringing the All About Dogs Show back to the Norfolk Showground – it’s where the show began for us 14 years ago and it’s amazing to see so many familiar and new faces each year."
