Two men have been arrested after a spat outside a city pub took a turn.
The brawl broke out between the two men near the Fat Cat pub in West End Street in the NR2 area.
An "offensive weapon", reportedly a meat cleaver, was involved in the fight as officers flooded the area at around 4pm on Sunday.

A police dog searched the nearby park and play area in a hunt for the men as a crowd of punters from the nearby pub watched on.
Following the incident, a man in his 60s and a man in his 70s were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
The pair were taken to Wymondham Police Station where they were questioned.
They have since been bailed.
