Increased police patrols are being carried out at "key times" in a city suburb after a spate of attacks on passing cars.
Drivers travelling along Dereham Road in Costessey report incidents of rocks being hurled through their windows.
Police confirm that they are taking these attacks seriously and have pledged to have more officers patrolling the area.
Nadeem Kuttikkattil, one of the most recent victims, was travelling along Dereham Road at around 4am on Wednesday when his car was targeted.
"After passing the lights next to the BP petrol station, driving at around 30 mph, I suddenly heard a striking noise, similar to a bird hit," he said.

"I immediately activated my hazard warning lights, slowed down, and stopped the car."
To Nadeem's shock, he found that his rear left window had been completely smashed through and hundreds of glass fragments had been strewn over the back seats.
Thankfully he was travelling alone and was not injured.
"Typically, my boys who are 11 and 13 accompany me and had they been present they could have been seriously injured," he said.

"I kindly request that the person responsible for this behaviour reconsider their actions.
"Many people are already struggling with daily life without needing added burdens like this."
When police officers arrived on the scene, they informed Nadeem that there had been 15 similar incidents in Dereham Road in recent weeks.
In the wake of Wednesday's attack, a Norfolk Police spokeswoman said: "We know these incidents are concerning for the community, and they are being taken very seriously by the officers investigating, with all lines of enquiry being explored.
"Patrols have been increased in the area between key time frames, typically in the late evenings and early hours of the morning, but we also endeavour to be as visible as possible during the day."
