A major UK tour starring Les Dennis, which included a Norwich run, has been cancelled.
Notes From A Small Island, a stage adaptation of Bill Bryson’s smash-hit memoir, was scheduled for Norwich Theatre Royal from February 4 to 8 2025.
The tour was due to star entertainer Les Dennis in the title role of Bill on his travels across Britain.

The producers said in a statement: “Unfortunately, the planned tour of Notes From A Small Island is unable to proceed.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and customers will be contacted by their point of purchase for a refund.”

A spokesperson from Norwich Theatre said: "We are sad to learn that the UK tour of Notes From A Small Island has been cancelled.
"All bookers will be contacted to be offered a refund or credit for another show.
"We are working hard at the moment to see what might fill the gap.”
