A crash on the outskirts of the city was causing traffic to build up earlier this morning.
The crash, involving two cars, happened at 9.15am on the A47 and A146 junction near Trowse Newton.
Fire and ambulance crews attended the scene.
One car was partially blocking a lane causing traffic to build in the area.
Police remained at the scene awaiting the recovery of the vehicles.
The scene has now been cleared and traffic has returned to its normal levels.
