A child has been hit by a car in the inner city ring road this morning.
They were hit by the vehicle on Hall Road at the junction with the A147.
The incident happened at around 8.30am with emergency services attending the scene.

The road was partially blocked as crews assisted the victim.
After being checked over by ambulance crews the child escaped with only minor injuries - deciding to not go to hospital.
