An otter has been spotted having a swim in a river in a Norfolk town.

Chris Stone spotted the animal whilst walking north along the Tiffey Trail, from Wymondham Abbey towards Kimberly.

The otter made its star-studded appearance on Saturday, April 27 at around 8.30am and it was Mr Stone's third time seeing an otter in Norfolk.

In recent years there have also been sightings of otters closer to the city.

The previous sightings of the mammal included one in the River Wensum and one near Whitlingham Country Park in Trowse.
