Thousands of people are expected to flock to a Norfolk Broads village this weekend for a boating celebration. 

The Horning Boat Show is back for its seventh year on Saturday, May 4 2024 from 10am until 4pm.

There is free entry to the event and visitors can park for free at family attraction BeWilderwood, with shuttle bus return tickets for £2.

BeWILDerwood's Tom Blofield will open the show and the exhibition spaces are at the Recreation Ground and on either side of The Swan Inn.

On display will be luxury motor cruisers and sailing boats, plus many other marina items and services.

Hayley Moss, the well-known Norfolk soprano singer, will perform around lunchtime.

There will also be Broads holiday companies, charity stalls, a food court and some classic cars.

Horning Sailing Club will be offering a Discover Sailing activity and the Horning Boat Show auction will raise funds for local good causes. 

The proceeds from the show go to the Horning Community Fund, used for activities and equipment to benefit local people.
