A cocktail and tapas bar in the heart of the city has now launched roast dinners with all the trimmings.

Bond No. 28 Tombland, just a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral, is serving Sunday roasts every week from 12noon until 5pm, starting on April 13.

Feast on a 28-day aged beef sirloin served with a Yorkshire pudding, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, red cabbage, lemon and parsley heritage carrots, minted petit pois and lashings of red wine gravy.

Each week there will be an additional seasonal meat available, either pork loin, lamb or corn-fed chicken, and there is also a vegetarian option.

Roasts cost from £13.50 to £17 and there are optional extras of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese for £5 each.

A spokesperson for Bond said: "All ingredients are sourced from in or around Norfolk to support local farmers and promote farm-to-fork."

The desserts are a cheesecake with a seasonal fruit compote or a chocolate brownie with ice cream, both for £6.50 each.
