A man has died after emergency services were called to an incident in Norwich.
Police were called to reports of a concern for safety after a man was seen in the river near Riverside Road at about 4pm on Thursday.
Other emergency services including fire, ambulance and air ambulance were called to the scene.
The air ambulance was seen landing on the Norwich School field.
A man aged in his 50s, was found in the water, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said: "The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances."
The man's next of kin has been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
