One of the biggest contemporary art events outside of London returns to Norwich for its tenth edition later this year.

Art Fair East annually hosts artists, galleries and art dealers from across the world and for the last nine years it has been at St Andrew’s Hall in the city.

With the historic venue closed for a multi-million pound revamp, the 2024 event will take place at The Assembly House.

Organisers and Norfolk-based artists Will Teather and Brian Korteling have also announced it will run a month earlier than usual from Friday, November 8 until Sunday, November 10.

Mr Teather said: “With The Halls being renovated throughout 2024, we cast out our net for a new city centre venue.

"We love to use beautiful buildings with their own history and cultural back story - The Assembly House was the perfect choice."

One of the unique aspects of the event is the chance for visitors to meet many of the artists and experts in person.

Art Fair East is sponsored by Musker McIntyre and Chadwicks, with The Assembly House as the 2024 venue sponsor.
