The Rotary Club of Norwich St Edmund conducted its first Rotary arts project.

Following this, presentations were held at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The competition saw participation from Cringleford Junior School and Notre Dame High School.

The entries earned praise from judge Steven Lawrance and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital CEO, Lesley Dwyer.

Awards for the three categories, which included Junior, Intermediate and Senior, were presented to the winners by the Lord Mayor of Norwich.

Junior consisted of those aged up to 10 years, intermediate between 11-13 years, and senior between 14-17 years.

Each child was awarded with a certificate and art materials.

The winner of the Junior category was Riley Hanner, with Aiyanna Olds being highly commended.

The winner of the Intermediate category was Hanna Rudd, with Coco Brickley being highly commended.

The winner of the Senior category was Weronika Szucio, with Agata Blonkowska being highly commended.

President of the Rotary Club, Caroline Evans, said: "We were really pleased with the high standard of entries and the thought that the students had put into their work."

The winning entries now proceed to the Rotary District competition.

All artwork will be displayed in the NNUH corridor for three months.
