Traffic was building on a key road around the city following a crash.
The incident happened earlier this morning in Sweet Briar Road, at the junction with Boundary Road and Drayton Road, when a van and a car collided.
Eyewitnesses reported that the car's bonnet landed under the van, meaning it was unable to move until recovery vehicles could reach the scene.
