A central hub in the city, the station in Thorpe Road offers a major train line for passengers travelling across Norfolk and the rest of the country.
The original station was once one of three in the city and opened in April 1844 but the station building that remains in place today was opened in May 1886.
It is grade II listed on the National Heritage List of Historic England.
