A busy road north of the city was closed for two hours following a crash that saw people cut free from their vehicles.
Police and fire services were called to North Walsham Road in Sprowston at 4.45pm on Thursday following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
The road was closed and fire crews from Sprowston and Earlham used hydraulic rescue equipment to release people from the vehicles involved.
Two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene but only minor injuries were reported with nobody taken to hospital.
The road was reopened at 6.54pm.
