A Norwich branch of a national clothing chain is among the first in the country to get its new 'Made to Order' service. 

There is now the opportunity to build a signature suit at Slater Menswear in St Stephens Street.

Over the course of a 45-minute appointment in the Made To Order room, customers will be guided through every part of the process - from fitting to selecting the fabrics.

Newly launched, the Made to Order shirt service offers more than 200 fabrics to choose from with sizes 14 to 22-inch collars.

Norwich was the third branch to be selected for the roll-out after Glasgow, where the head office is based, and Manchester.

Simon Cheeseman, Norwich store manager, said: "For Norwich to be third in line just shows the potential that Slater Menswear sees in the city.

"I’ve personally seen the development of men’s fashion in Norwich soar, with everyone wanting something slightly different to what you usually see on the shelves."
