Three restaurants in Norwich have been named among the most romantic places to eat in the country.

Review website OpenTable has revealed the 100 most romantic restaurants in the UK ahead of Valentine's Day.

Here are the three restaurants in Norwich that made the list.

1) The Assembly House

This historic city venue, famed for its afternoon tea selection, has been named as one of the best to impress a date.

The Georgian grandeur has been the backdrop for diners for centuries and offers the chance to wow your other half with a classier affair.

The Assembly House offers a variety of afternoon teas as well as a la carte breakfast and lunch menus.

2) Rooftop Gardens

Norwich's first and only rooftop restaurant and bar offers 360-degree panoramic views to set the scene.

Located on the top floor of The Union Building, diners can enjoy views of Norwich's best-known landmarks. 

Rooftop Gardens offers cocktail masterclasses as well as afternoon tea and bottomless brunch.

3) Estabulo

The bar and grill that honours the Brazilian Gaúcho’s traditional cooking methods has earned it a place on the list.

Estabulo prides itself on the variety of meat it offers, with giant skewers full of beef and chicken being carved in front of you.

The riverside spot also has a range of cocktails and mocktails to impress your date.
