In pictures: Take a look back at life in Norwich in 1994

But 1994 was a particularly eventful year, with Norwich seeing the worst British library fire in living memory as well as the closure of the Nestle factory and a visit from the Queen. 

Some of the region's long-gone attractions were still in their prime, such as Aquapark and the funfair on Castle Meadow.
