A Norfolk school has begun its new life as part of an academy trust after officially joining the organisation.
Taverham High School has completed its move to become part of the Enrich Learning Trust, which runs eight other schools in the region.
Talks over the merger began in January last year, with Taverham at the time one of the last stand-alone academies in the county.
Roger Harris, the school's headteacher, said the move would benefit youngsters as it would "leverage the collective expertise, resources and best practices of Enrich Learning Trust to enhance the overall education experience of our students".
He said: "The trustees of Taverham have seen the multitude of benefits of working as part of a trust and this is an opportunity for the school to continue its journey to excellence.
"We look forward to embarking on this exciting journey and are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all involved."
Russell Boulton, the trust's chief executive, added: "We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
"Together, we aim to create a network of schools that share a common commitment to excellence, equity and inclusivity."
