Police patrols have been stepped in the city's outskirts after an incident on Friday.

A teenage boy was approached by three men wearing black clothing and face coverings at around 7.30pm in Overstrand Way in Sprowston.

It has been reported that one of the men produced a knife.

Norfolk Police has been carrying out house-to-house enquiries and will be increasing patrols in the area over the coming weeks.
