A golf club on the outskirts of Norwich is starting 2024 in style as it earns the top star rating from the AA for its rooms.
Bawburgh Golf Club has recently received a five-star AA accreditation for its Woodlands Accommodation at Glen Lodge.
The rating was based on many factors including hospitality and service, food, bedroom and bathroom standards, public areas and cleanliness.

There are four spacious and modern double or twin rooms, with an additional suite featuring a private decking area and hot tub overlooking the Yare Valley and golf course.
Places with five stars for guest accommodation have "awareness of each guest's needs with nothing being too much trouble."

Jamie Goose, operations director, said: 'We are extremely proud to receive the highest rating on offer.
"Congratulations to our team who work tirelessly to deliver the highest standards at all times across the business.
"Our Woodlands Accommodation was completed and opened in April 2021, which was in addition to our wedding and event venue, The Barnard Suite, that launched back in April 2019."
