Plans have been lodged for almost 100 new homes as part of the next phase of a major housing development on the edge of the city.
Norwich City Council has revealed details of 89 new properties at its wider project on land south of Clover Hill Road in Three Score, Bowthorpe.
The dwellings - which will consist of 59 units and 30 affordable homes - would make up phase four of the authority's plans to build 1,000 homes, a care village and 10 hectares of open space at the site.
Concerns have previously been raised that the scheme will put "additional strain" on resources - with Norfolk police warning that the use of rear parking in an "active street scene" could lead to a rise in crime and anti-social behaviour.
However, councillors have argued that the site has sufficient surveillance and it is not an “out of the way forgotten area".
A decision is expected to be made on phase four by April 19.
