A city headteacher has paid an emotional tribute to a 12-year-old who was one of the four bodies found at a home in Costessey last week.

The bodies of Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45 and his sister-in-law Kanticha Sukpengpanao, 36, were discovered at a home in Allan Bedford Crescent on Friday morning along with his two daughters, nine-year-old Natasha and Jasmin, 12.

The discovery has stunned those living in and around the Queen's Hills estate.

"I found out what had happened early Friday afternoon and I was devastated.

"I didn't believe it and frankly, didn't want to believe it.

"I shared the information with staff that that day before notifying parents of pupils at the school that evening."

Jasmin's younger sister, Natasha, attended Queen's Hill Primary School.

On Sunday, Dr Harris and Matthew Cross, headteacher at Queen's Hill Primary, attended Queen's Hills Community Centre with the county council's Critical Incident Team to offer children an opportunity to share their feelings and provide extra support.

"As a headteacher and human being, this is a nightmare scenario.

"I've never had to deal with a death, especially under these circumstances, which is horrible to come to terms with."

The post-mortems of the two girls are due to take place on Wednesday.
