Firefighters were called to a house fire in Norwich overnight.

The blaze broke out in Trory Street near the Golden Triangle at about 3am on Sunday, January 7.

A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said appliances from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston were sent to tackle the blaze.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used main jets and hose reel jets to put out the fire.

After firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots a stop call was made at 4.10am.
