A road will be closed for up to nine weeks while resurfacing is carried out.

Work was set to begin on the footpath in Longdell Hills in Costessey today and a road closure will be in place throughout the project. 

This closure will be between house number 20 and the road's junction with Longwater Lane.

There will be two-way lights provided at the junction and vehicle access to properties will be maintained at all times.

The roadworks are expected to last between six and nine weeks and will cost Norfolk County Council £120,000.
