A person has died after being hit by a train on the Norwich to London line.
Services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street were cancelled for several hours and all lines between Shenfield and Witham in Essex were closed due to the incident.
All lines have since reopened but delays are expected until 4pm.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at around 11.30am to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
