A former colleague of Gaynor Lord said when they worked together he remembers her being a “fun” person to be around.

The man said he worked with Gaynor - who has been missing since last Friday - in the Jarrolds restaurant a couple of years ago.

He said: “She was such a pleasant lady to be around, I am shocked this has happened and have no idea why, I am just as confused as everybody else.

"It is just odd something has happened to her because she was well-liked, assured and, at least then, had everything together.

"She was fun to be around, exciting, always making jokes and, from what I could make out, always happy.

That day Gaynor, 55, was captured on CCTV at various locations around Norwich city centre, including walking through the cathedral grounds, before going missing.

The former colleague said: "I’m sorry this has happened at Christmas time too and my thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones."
