The search to find a missing mother-of-three continues a week after her disappearance.
Gaynor Lord, 55, went missing on Friday, December 8 after she left work from Jarrolds department store in the city centre at 2.45pm, earlier than her shift was supposed to finish.
Julie Butcher, a friend of the missing 55-year-old, said that Gaynor called her at 2.15pm on Friday.
Ms Butcher told Gaynor that she was busy with a client and asked to call her back.
She tried to call Gaynor seven or eight minutes later but did not get a response and tried once more before leaving a voicemail and sending a WhatsApp message saying that she was now free to speak.
Gaynor rang again at 4.15pm but it "sounded like a pocket call" as Ms Butcher "could hear movement in her pocket".
CCTV footage released on Wednesday shows her walking and running in London Street and Queens Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, where she stayed for 34 minutes.
It was previously believed Gaynor met someone in the Cathedral grounds, however Norfolk police have confirmed there is no evidence of this.
The footage then shows Gaynor continuing to walk along St George's Street towards the Playhouse at 3.49pm.
She was then seen walking along St Crispins Road towards Pitt Street and finally up St Augustine’s Street at 4.01pm, her last known sighting.
A member of the public found items belonging to Gaynor, including clothing and jewellery, more than a mile away in Wensum Park on Friday evening.
The discovery was reported to police shortly after 8pm, more than five hours after her disappearance.
Over the weekend, specialist search teams carried out extensive searches of the area, including water-based searches carried out with assistance from the force's Marine Unit, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and the Coastguard.
Other items, including Gaynor’s mobile phone, have since been discovered in the park and as a result, the park has been closed and a police cordon remains in place today.
On Tuesday, an olive-coloured coat belonging to Gaynor was found in the river in Wensum Park.
Police now believe Gaynor may have entered the water.
A witness has also reported seeing someone who could have been Gaynor at 4pm in the park - she said the woman removed her coat and performed a yoga pose.
Specialist divers from Lincolnshire Police joined the search on Wednesday with sonar equipment.
Officers were seen at New Mill Yard on Thursday, six days after Gaynor went missing, as teams searched the water between the site and Wensum Park.
Chief Superintendent Dave Buckley confirmed that an underwater drone was being used to trawl the river around a sluice gate at New Mill Yard – about 500 meters from where the missing mother-of-three is believed to have entered the water.
The search to find Gaynor could continue over Christmas.
Gaynor is described as white, 5ft 6 tall, and was wearing a white shirt and yellow tank top with a large olive-coloured coat over the top and a scarf.
She has blonde shoulder-length hair in a bob.
