A new deli has opened its doors in the Norwich Lanes and there are farm-to-fork plans in the pipeline.

Bare Food Deli is located at 20 St Benedicts Street and it was previously the home of a barber's shop.

The owners are Henry Barham and his mum Louise and they spent several months refurbishing the premises, which includes a huge purpose-built wooden counter.

He said: "I am slowly getting the land ready by growing vegetables and I am hoping to start a goat dairy there next year, which is currently going through planning.

"Launching the shop was an offshoot of this as a way to sell that produce in the future.

"We chose this location as we both like St Benedicts Street and it has lots of character - we want the deli to be a hub of local suppliers."
