A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape in Norwich.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Bishopgate, near the Adam and Eve pub, on Tuesday.
The incident happened between 11.20pm and 11.44pm.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault and a public order offence and was taken to Wymondham police station for questioning, where he remains.
A police cordon remained in place this morning.
