Step into Christmas with a new festive market in Norwich next week.

On Thursday the University of East Anglia will host its first winter market in hopes of bringing the community together.

The Street, The Square and The Warren and other central areas of the campus will be filled with over 40 stalls.

With mulled wine, festive food, Christmas music and local crafts dotted around, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The university hopes the market will be an opportunity for all to come together to support local businesses.

Staff, students and alumni were offered stalls free of charge and external stallholder fees were kept to a minimum.

Other businesses were only charged small fees.

The market will run between 2pm and 7pm and entry is free.
